Top 5 Club “Funniest People” August 21, 2008

#1 Conan O’Brien.  THE funnest guy. Ever. 

 

#2 Andy Samberg.  With digital shorts he brought back SNL.  Laser cats was genius.

 

#3 Will Arnett and Amy Poehler. They’re married. They come in a pair.

 

#4 Ben Stiller. Zoolander.

 

#5 Jim Carrey.  Though he hasn’t done anything funny lately, Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura will always remain two of the funniest movies ever made.

So this was the toughest list to make so far. I wish I could also include  Jack Black, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kristen Wiig, and Tina Fey. I guess I just did.

So growing up one of my favorite movies to watch was “Daffy Ducks Movie: Fantastic Island.” I used to watch it over and over for years.  Yes I know I am 25 years old, but I wish SO MUCH that they would release this movie to DVD. I’ve been checking Amazon for years now, and no luck. Sigh.

Top 5 Club “Best Tv Shows” August 12, 2008

1. Sex and the City.  Though Dave might disagree, this is probably the best show that’s ever been made. 

2. Arrested Development. Maybe, and I stress maybe, the only show greater than SATC. I can’t figure out why Fox would cancel this great of a show?! Idiots.

3. The Office. Really original comedy. ALWAYS entertaining. Will Jim and Pam ever get engaged????

4. SNL. The digital shorts make it. Andy Samburg is amazing with his thinking.

5. Spongebob Squarepants. Hey, it’s funny!

So Dave, Josh, and I watched Wanted last night.  With so much over-the-top corny action stunts going on, of course I could do nothing but laugh.  But over all it was actually a pretty good flick.  Here’s one reason why..
